Southport International Festival  

The formation of the Parade is at the Magistrates Court, Lord Street. Please be aware that access will be restricted to participants only.

Registered participants must arrive for line-up and check-in with the Parade Manager at the line-up site from 12.30am (arriving no later than 12.45am) on Sunday 4th September 2011.

Participation in the Parade is restricted to those who have pre-registered with the organisers prior to arrival on the day of the event.

The Parade route will be from the Magistrates Court, north end of Lord Street (setting off at 1pm sharp), ending at Town Hall Gardens. Mobile phones must be switched off once the Parade is underway.

Stall Holders

Stall holders must set up their stalls between 9am and 10am. Vehicle access will be limited to the area in front of the Arts Centre, for this period of time only. Only small vans will be permitted to enter this area due to limited space. No vehicles will be permitted to remain on site after 10am.

The stalls will open from 10am until 5pm, after which stall holders must remove their goods. All stalls must be cleared by 6pm.

Stall holders must have their own insurance in place to cover all risks. Where food or beverages are to be sold, copies of the stall holders insurance must be provided with the booking application.

Stall holders must comply with all current health and safety regulations.

Stalls providing food or beverages must provide current food handling and hygiene certificates.

No music may be played by any stall holder as this would conflict with the entertainments taking place during the festival.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse any application for a stall.
